The Independent External Review was carried out by Alison Levitt QC of 2 Hare Court (the ‘Independent Reviewer’) with the assistance of Christopher Foulkes of 2 Hare Court and Kingsley Napley LLP solicitors.

Personal data was contained in documentation and evidence collated in connection with the Review. Personal data was collected from the data subject when they provided information or documents, or was contained in other documentation or information provided to the Independent Reviewer by third parties in connection with the Review.
Personal data was processed in connection with the review in pursuit of the legitimate interests of RICS as set out in the Review’s Terms of Reference.
Personal data shared directly with the Independent Reviewer could be shared with RICS where it was considered necessary to do so in order to fulfil the Terms of Reference, at the discretion of the Independent Reviewer.
Personal data could be disclosed more widely as part of the Review report where this was deemed to be in the legitimate interests of RICS.
